Who I Am

My name is Brent, and I’ve spent more than 25 years working in the concrete industry — in the field, at the plant, in dispatch, in QC, in operations, and everywhere in between. I’ve worked with contractors, producers, managers, and crews who pour the backbone of this industry every day.

My Story

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked in:

• Residential and light commercial concrete contracting, leasing, and mangement

• Ready-mix production and plant operations

• Batch systems, dispatch, and customer service

• Quality control and mix performance

• Fleet management and cycle-time optimization

• International operations across the U.S., Canada, and Brazil

• Automation and patented load-verification technology

During that time, I noticed the same problem everywhere:

Contractors and producers were forced to rely on outdated processes, spreadsheets, clipboards, or overpriced software that didn’t fit the way concrete people actually work.

So I built ReadyBuild to fix that.
